Finland's master of deadpan comedy, Aki Kaurismäki ('Lights in the Dusk', 'Le Havre'), returns with the story of an unlikely friendship between a Syrian asylum seeker and a middle-aged Finnish restaurant owner. Winner of the Berlin Silver Bear for Best Director, it's a beautiful, timely film from one of the world's leading auteurs.

Fri 20th Nailsworth Film Club: Burn Burn Burn Grieving over the death of their friend Dan, Seph and Alex are shocked to receive a posthumous video message from him instructing them to take a road trip across Britain to scatter his ashes (kept in a Tupperware box in the glove compartment) . This is a very clever little film, moving at times and darkly hilarious at others, a road trip packed with surprises. Brilliant cameos from Alison Steadman and Julian Rhind-Tutt.
